Celebrated musician Victoria Kimani has come out publicly to set the record straight on rumoursthat had been circulating linking her to Ghanian rapper Sarkodie.
Taking to social media, Victoria denied dating the rapper and asked her fans to stop addressing her as Sarkodie’s wife, noting that the hunk was married and she respects his marriage.
This follows wild speculations from her fans to the effect that the two were an item.
The Kenyan singer's fans thought the duo had an intimate relationship going following their public and social media gushes over each other.
“Why Ya’ll calling me Sark’s wife? That’s a whole married man, have a lil respect,” she stated.

She further posed a question in a separate tweet, where she wondered why whenever a female artist collaborates with a male one it's speculated they are dating.
“Is it an African thing? Girl work with a guy, people interpret that as ‘they must be dating’ when theirs is a lot to unpack there,” she posed.
Well, in a previous tweet, she had implied that Sarkodie was qualified to be the type of man she wanted in her life.
“If he wants to marry, I’ll definitely see myself talking to somebody like him coz he is beautiful, he’s black, he’s dominant, he’s manly, definitely my man in many ways,” she had posted.
Sarkodie is married to a popular Ghanaian businesswoman Tracy Owusu Addo alias Tracy Sarkcess and the two have been serving couple goals online by showering each other with special messages.
