Popular Ugandan actress and comedian Anne Kansiime cannot contain herself after her long-time boyfriend Skylanta proposed to her weeks after they welcomed their first baby.

Kansiime, who took to her social media pages to share the news, posted a photo of herself flaunting her engagement ring and disclosing that her baby daddy went down on one knee and she said ‘Yes’.

In her caption, the award-winning Ugandan comedian vowed to respect and love Skylanta forever.

“A beautiful promise. I just might have gotten myself a life partner in jox. @skylantagram thank you for loving me and being my hiding place,” she wrote.

Kansiime gushed over her baby daddy saying he was supportive and further thanked God for such a beautiful gift in her life.

“Thank you for risking to take a chance on my madness. Kale am gonna love you,” she concluded.

Kansiime and Skyla started dating in 2018 after she parted ways with her ex-husband Gerald Ojuok whom they had been married for four years.


The two have been serving couple goals since 2018 and in April the lovebirds welcomed their first child together and called him Selassie Ataho.

“His name is Selassie Ataho. My sins have truly been forgiven. @selassie_ataho1 #sharedblessings indeed,” Kansiime disclosed at the time.
