Courier partners working with Bolt Food in Kenya now have access to their earnings faster, thanks to the newly launched Early Cashout feature.
The initiative enables couriers to receive their funds within two business days instead of waiting for the usual weekly payout cycle, granting them greater control over their finances.
To access the feature, courier partners simply need to tap the Early Cashout button in the app's Balance section.
However, eligibility depends on certain criteria: accounts must be free of active blocks, ongoing transactions, or irregular activity.
Payment processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method but will not exceed two business days.

Highlighting the rationale behind this development, Edgar Kitur, Bolt Food General Manager, said: "Our network of courier partners is the lifeblood of our platform, and their welfare is paramount to us. We are constantly working to ensure their experience of joining and using the platform addresses their needs. We’re launching Early Cashout to support courier partners in Kenya with even greater control over their earnings."
Since its Kenyan launch in 2021, Bolt Food has become a key player in food and grocery delivery services across two cities, boasting over 3,000 merchants and 6,000 couriers.
The platform’s flexibility and competitive earning potential have made it an attractive option for couriers looking to boost their income.
Couriers are not required to pay subscription fees and have the freedom to choose when and how to deliver.
Bolt Food's commitment extends beyond efficiency to supporting the broader food and beverage ecosystem, which it views as a cornerstone of vibrant city life.
Through initiatives like Early Cashout, the company strengthens its role as an ally to couriers, providing opportunities for financial empowerment alongside convenient service for customers.
The move further cements Bolt Food's mission to deliver solutions that prioritise courier welfare while enhancing operational flexibility—a significant step in Kenya's growing delivery service sector.
