Safaricom has unveiled an exciting 90-day online gaming challenge, the 'Wai Ndai' Challenge, which kicked off on Saturday and will run through to February 15, 2025.

The competition is set to engage customers with a variety of puzzle, arcade, and action games, offering daily cash vouchers totalling Sh500,000 and a chance to win one of three Suzuki Altos, awarded monthly.

Each day, three participants will receive daily cash prizes, with the top three winners earning Sh3,000, Sh2,000, and Sh1,000 vouchers. Participants can track their progress and rank through a publicly available leaderboard.

The grand prize of a Suzuki Alto will be awarded to the top player at the end of each month, making the stakes even higher for competitors.

To enter the challenge, customers can visit the official website, https://sc.wineazy.com, dial USSD code *555#, or sign up through the MySafaricom app. A daily entry fee of Sh10 is required to access the 'Challenges Arena' and participate in the games.

Fawzia Ali, Chief Consumer Business Officer at Safaricom PLC, spoke about the initiative, saying, “Through the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, we aim to deliver an engaging gaming proposition that resonates with our youth customers, all while keeping them entertained on the go and offering them opportunities to win exciting rewards.”

The 'Wai Ndai' Challenge encourages skill-based gameplay, with participants accumulating points based on their performance. The challenge launched at the inaugural Safaricom Hook Circle Praktiklz bootcamp, held at Nakuru Athletics Club.

The event also provided young people with a unique platform to engage with mentors and experts from industries such as music, art, fashion, dance, and gaming.

The launch of the challenge will be followed by university, college, and hotspot activations across the country, further extending the campaign's reach.

'Wai Ndai' Challenge forms part of Safaricom's broader community engagement efforts, which also include customer delights, dealer engagements, business clinics, and free medical camps.

This initiative coincides with Safaricom’s 24th anniversary in Kenya and the festive season 'Sambaza Furaha' campaign.

For participants, the thrill of competition, daily rewards, and the chance to drive home a new car make this challenge a must-try for gaming enthusiasts.
