Visa and Naivas Supermarket have unveiled a co-branded loyalty card as they seek to enhance the shopping experience for loyal customers of the Kenyan retail giant.

The new card dubbed "Reward Card" will see loyal Naivas customers earn points for every purchase they make at the retailer’s stores and participating partners across the country.

The points can then be redeemed for exciting discounts and special offers.

"The Reward Card, is our way of appreciating our customers and telling them “asante” for choosing us," said Naivas Chief of Strategy Andreas von Paleske.

With the partnership with Visa, Paleske says, Naivas Supermarket seeks to provide an affordable world-class shopping experience to its thousands of customers.

"This partnership provides us with an opportunity to do that, and customers will be able to use this card with the fact one can now use this card to shop in millions of locations worldwide, it does not get any more global than that," he added.

Further, the loyalty cardholders will also enjoy the ease and security of digital payments with features like contactless payments for faster and safer transactions.

Additionally, the card boasts global acceptance, functioning as a Visa card accepted by merchants across the globe and is equipped with Visa's advanced security technology.

The loyalty card will be availed across all Naivas Supermarkets in the coming months with the two partners promising convenience, accessibility, and rewards for Kenyan shoppers.
