Safaricom’s M-Pesa platform has been named the most loved brand among women in Kenya in 2024.
This is according to ranking in the fourth edition of The Top 100 Most Loved Brands by Women in Kenya report, which was conducted by research company Ipsos and BSD Group.
Leading telecommunications company Safaricom was ranked second on the list of the most loved brands by women in the country, with Equity Bank Kenya followed in third position.
Samsung Electronics, which has its headquarters based in South Korea, emerged fourth, while Ajab wheat flour closed the top five most beloved brands among women in Kenya.
Naivas Supermarket was listed sixth, telco Airtel seventh, KCB Bank eighth, home care products manufacturer Menengai ninth and US tech company Apple emerged tenth.
In 2023, the report ranked Safaricom, M-Pesa, Airtel and Equity as the top four most loved brands by women respectively.
The study revealed how Kenyan women’s daily household consumer purchase decision-making has been significantly impacted by the prevailing high cost of living in the country.
