“Building a business from the ground up is never easy. To see a home-grown business brand succeed year on year amidst all the turmoil and challenges of entrepreneurship including the vagaries of Covid-19 and even the current tough economic times is a fete to be celebrated and emulated,” intimated Mwangi-Yelbert.

In her keynote address, the well-respected businesswoman stressed on the importance of upcoming women entrepreneurs in Kenya receiving business mentorship and peerage.

Mwinamo challenged Winnie Gor Communications Africa to embrace innovation, creativity, and trust as some of the key pillars that drive the marketing and communication practice.

“Reaching this kind of milestone in business, is not an end in itself but just an indicator that you are doing something right,” stated Mwinamo.

He added: “To stay there and even surpass this achievement, requires even more dedication and focus from the founders in developing operational systems and sustainability plans, the lack of which has led to premature deaths of many SME dreams.”
