Bolt has announced that it has taken action against the driver who was captured in a viral video exposing his private parts to a female client during a ride in his hailed taxi in Nairobi.

Bolt Country Manager Linda Ndung’u revealed that the ride-hailing platform had permanently deactivated the said driver from the platform as it takes measures to redeem the firm's image dented by the scandal.

During an interview with Swala Nyeti, Linda also indicated that Bolt is also taking more stringent measures to deal with any violations by drivers on the platform as the Estonian company works to streamline it.
