Mercy Corps AgriFin was officially unveiled in 2012 and is dedicated to reaching unbanked smallholder farmers living on less than USD2 per day.

AgriFin Digital Farmer (ADF II), which is currently in its fourth phase, is targeting to reach five million smallholder farmers across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.

According to the agricultural financing organization, the program is seeking to grow farmer income, productivity, and resilience while targeting to reach 40 per cent women farmers.

The AgriFin Learning Event (ALE) will showcase how technology can drive resilience and transform the lives of the farmers in their endeavors to feed targeted African nations.

The forum also seeks to address challenges facing agricultural development, including environmental and economic shocks plaguing smallholder farmers across the continent.
