Airtel Money Kenya Limited has revised its limit per transaction from Sh150,000 to Sh250,000 in a move scheduled to take effect from September 1, 2023.
The revision follows successful engagements with Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and comes after it revised the Airtel Money daily transaction limits from Sh300,000 to Sh500,000.
According to Airtel Kenya, the transaction charges for the new band shall remain similar to those that were previously charged in the Sh70,001 – Sh150,000 category.
“The incorporation of the Sh150,001 – Sh250,000 band of transactions without any further transaction charges is part of our strive to empower our customers with flexible and personalized solutions while at the same time delivering to them exceptional value for their money,” said Airtel Money Kenya MD Anne Kinuthia-Otieno.
