Kenyan technology firm Boya has partnered with VISA and Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) - Kenya to unveil a virtual expense card to help SMEs to track their daily expenditures.

The platform by Boya seeks to streamline expense tracking and reporting for businesses and in the process empower companies with better control over their financial operations.

Boya has, through the new partnership, incorporated DTB's Cards as a service offering in its platform with the one virtual card solution being provided to all customers at zero fees.

This platform allows Boya customers to access virtual corporate cards backed by Visa allowing businesses to efficiently track, manage and reconcile expenses, streamline financial processes and promote financial transparency.

Speaking during the launch, Boya CEO Alphas Sinja said the platform seeks to simplify tracking of expenses, enhance financial control, and drive operational efficiency.

“By automating time-consuming tasks and providing valuable insights, our solution enables organizations to focus on core activities and achieve their strategic goals,” said Sinja.

He added, “In today's fast-paced digital landscape, traditional expense management processes often fall short in meeting the demands of modern businesses.

Sinja noted that the tool has been built with consideration for challenges facing businesses.

DTB Group CEO and MD Nasim Devji indicated that the partnership will fast track the development of innovative fintech products and services by linking banking and technology.
