Kenya Airways (KQ) and China Southern Airlines (CZ) have renewed their interline agreement following the resumption of international travel to and from China.

The deal seeks to restore connectivity for KQ and CZ passengers to points on their individual networks via Nairobi, Guangzhou and Shanghai using a single ticket and one baggage policy.

The reciprocal agreement improves the connectivity options that KQ will accord its passengers by getting access to domestic China destinations operated by China Southern.

The destinations include Shanghai, Chongqing, Changsha, Chengdu, Dalian, Fuzhou, Hefei, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Kunming, Guiyang, Ningbo, Nanjing, Nanning, Shenyang, Shantou, Sanya, Qingdao, Jinan and Tianjin.

The global destinations operated by China Southern will include Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Penang, Seoul, Singapore Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland and Melbourne.

China Southern passengers will access KQ networks to African destinations like Dar es saalam, Entebbe, Kigali, Kinshasa, Bujumbura, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Douala, Mauritius.

The flights under their renewed interline agreement are open for booking on KQ and CZ websites, travel agents and online travel agents (OTAs).
