LG Electronics has unveiled the LG Best Care Trailer, a 40-foot mobile service unit designed to deliver repairs, diagnostics, and customer support directly to homes and neighbourhoods across East Africa.

The trailer unveiled in Nairobi will serve consumers in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and potentially Zambia, offering convenience as demand for LG’s premium products is picking up.

LG Electronics East Africa President Donghun Lee will enable more Kenyan and East African consumers of LG products to access centralized service points affordably and conveniently.

“The LG Best Care Trailer brings expert support directly to our customers’ doorsteps, saving them time and ensuring their appliances continue to function efficiently,” said Lee.

The mobile unit has been equipped with skilled technicians, diagnostic tools, and spare parts, enabling on-the-spot assessments, minor repairs, and guidance on usage.

It will rotate through neighbourhoods such as Eastlands, South B, Kasarani, Westlands, and Kilimani, with stopovers announced weekly on the LG EastAfrica social media pages.

Beyond after-sales service, the unit also doubles as a community engagement platform, featuring a moving LED billboard, a stage, and sound systems for activations and showcases.

“At LG, customer satisfaction does not end at the point of sale but continues across the lifetime of the products through reliable, responsive after-care,” stated LG Electronics East Africa Service Director Ronald Mitei.

He added: “The LG Best Care Trailer reflects this commitment to ensuring that customers attain maximum benefits from their investment.”

LG also plans to roll it out the mobile unit to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and other East African markets after a pilot in Nairobi.
