After thrilling fans in the Greater Western Region, which includes Nyanza and Western Kenya, last week, the M-PESA Sokoni Festival Caravan has finally rolled into Nairobi with a green bang!
This is the grand climax of a countrywide celebration commemorating M-PESA’s 18th birthday and its incredible milestone of hitting 50 million customer subscriptions across its network in the country.
The Nairobi City County leg kicked off in style on Monday at Kwa DC in Kibra and attracted enthusiastic crowds ready for a week of green fun, surprises, and giveaways.
From Kibra, the colourful caravan will snake through Nairobi’s bustling estates, making stopovers at Waithaka stage, Zambezi, Limuru stage, and Wangige to say a big thank you to loyal customers who have been part of M-PESA’s journey since 2007.
