Super petrol, diesel and kerosene will retail at the pump at a lowered price of Sh1.95, Sh2.20 and Sh2.40 per litre respectively for the next one month.

This is according to the latest review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced on Monday giving only a slight relief to economically battered Kenyans.

The new prices take effect from April 15, 2025 to May 14, 2025 and will see a litre of super petrol retail for Sh174.63, diesel at Sh164.86 and kerosene at Sh148.99 a litre in Nairobi.

In Mombasa, super petrol, diesel and kerosene will retail at Sh171.39, Sh161.62 and Sh145.75 respectively, while in Kisumu they will go for Sh174.67, Sh165.24 and Sh149.42 respectively.

“The average landed cost of imported super petrol decreased by 4.89 per cent from US$637.22 per cubic metre in February 2025 to US$606.06 per cubic metre in March 2025; diesel decreased by 6.45 per cent from US$680.63 per cubic metre to US$636.75 per cubic metre while kerosene decreased by 6.53 per cent from US$672.14 per cubic metre to US$628.22 per cubic metre over the same period,” said EPRA Director-General Daniel Bargoria.

The downward revision comes after the prices remained unchanged from January to March 2025 when Petrol retailed at Sh176.58, diesel at Sh167.06, and Kerosene at Sh151.39 a litre.
