Safaricom has unveiled a revolutionary digital tool aimed at reshaping the way Savings and Credit Cooperative Organisations (SACCOs) in Kenya manage their membership and financial services.
The MySacco App, launched today, offers SACCO members a streamlined, fully digitised experience for handling loans, savings accounts, and various other services.
This innovation is expected to enhance SACCOs' ability to manage a growing and increasingly diverse member base with ease and efficiency.
Safaricom's Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Cynthia Kropac, highlighted the company's dedication to driving both customer success and national economic progress through the MySacco App.

"We have built a secure digital infrastructure that SACCOs need. MySacco App is more than a platform. It is a tool that empowers SACCOs to unlock their full potential and deliver exceptional services to their members," Kropac stated.
"With MySacco, convenience meets affordability, security, and financial inclusion to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives."
Key features of the MySacco App include the capability for users to manage multiple SACCO memberships and execute intra-SACCO transfers.
Additionally, the entire loan process—application, approval, disbursement, and repayment—has been digitised, providing a trackable and transparent experience for members.
This seamless integration of services aims to simplify SACCO operations while enhancing customer satisfaction.
“In a fast-paced digital world, this infrastructure ensures the protection of data, maintains secure communication channels, and contributes to the overall satisfaction of the customer,” Kropac added, underscoring the platform's emphasis on security and convenience.
The app is designed to be highly accessible, with members able to use it via various digital channels.
Safaricom will offer versions for both Android and iOS devices for easy mobile access.
Additionally, a web portal will cater to those seeking advanced features, and a USSD option will ensure members without smartphones are not left behind.
