Samsung Electronics has announced that the new Galaxy S24 Series smartphone, touted for their innovative Galaxy AI capabilities, are now available across Kenya for purchase.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series a double-digit surge in pre-order sales compared to its predecessor, with more than 80 per cent of buyers choosing the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

“The launch of the Galaxy S24 series demonstrates our initial step toward a new era of AI phones that go beyond the current smartphone,” stated Anthony Hutia, Head of Mobile Experience at Samsung Electronics East Africa.

He added: “Designed to be an essential part of our daily lives, Galaxy AI will permanently change the way people interact with the world.”

Galaxy AI upgrades innovative and practical AI features like Live Translate and Chat Assist to greater heights for search provided by Circle to Search with Google[1] for better user experience.

The new ProVisual Engine, a suite offering AI-powered camera tools, maximizes creativity, from image capturing with new zoom capabilities to editing with the help of generative AI.

With the new AI features, Samsung offers the user more language options on top of the current 13.

Through software updates, most of the Galaxy AI experiences will be extended to past Samsung models, including the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series.

The Galaxy S24 series also offers seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

From Valentine’s Day on February 14, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 will be available across Kenya through Safaricom and Samsung outlets.

Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in Titanium Gray, Black, Violet, and Titanium Yellow colour variants, while Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 are available in Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow colour options.
