OPPO on Tuesday unveiled the new OPPO Find N2 Flip in Kenya as it seeks to take over the flip phones market in the country.

The device comes with a premium camera system with a Sony IMX890 sensor, MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ power, ultra-fast dual-SIM 5G connectivity, and faster charging rates

Cover Screen

OPPO Find N2 Flip boasts of the largest cover screen among flip phones, measuring 3.26 inches for easier handling and navigation and can display up to six notifications at once.

The cover screen’s vertical orientation allows the user to use messenger apps, adjust settings, record voice notes, make calls, among others without unlocking the device.

It comes with playful widgets, indicative animal wallpapers, and a user can set a GIF as their cover screen wallpaper, or use their Bitmoji sticker pack as their Always-on Display (AOD).

The device has polished aluminum sides, a fingerprint-resistant glass cover and a distinctive micro-etched wave pattern across the hinge, weighs 191g and measures 7.45mm when open.

OPPO Find N2 Flip comes in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colours and features a 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED display with a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio and a smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.


The display ensures an enhanced viewer experience with superb visibility in different environments, due to its erudite anti-reflective material and up to 1600 nits of brightness.

Flip Camera

Find N2 Flip’s flagship 50MP main camera features a large Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.8 lens with a dual preview function available when taking a photo or video of someone else.

The FlexForm Mode is backed by the New Generation Flexion Hinge, and the phone can hold its mid-fold position at 45º - 110º for waist-level angles, and 4K time-lapse video.

Its 17:9 aspect ratio cover screen aligns pretty well with the camera sensor to maximize detail in your photos and reduce the need for cropping.


The device is ideal for group shots and video calls on WhatsApp and Zoom owing to its 32MP selfie camera with Sony IMX709 sensor, enabling autofocus and wide-angle capture.

Find N2 Flip, which is co-developed with the legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad, captures pro-grade colours, a fully featured Professional Mode, and a unique XPAN mode.

400,000 Folds

The performance of the folding screen has been enhanced with the New Generation Flexion Hinge that collaborates with the main display creating a robust yet subtle crease.

OPPO says it has achieved a new standard of mechanical stability by designing the hinge with fewer components compared to the previous Flexion Hinge.

According to the standards of TÜV Rhineland testing, the OPPO Find N2 Flip has been certified to withstand more than 400,000 folds and unfolds at standard room temperature.


This translates to opening and closing the device up to 100 times each day for more than 10 years with the fold tested 100,000 times at 50ºC and 95 per cent humidity and at -20ºC.

Fastest Charging

The Find N2 Flip boasts of outpacing other flip phones on the market in battery life and houses a large 4,300mAh and is powered by flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset.

Similarly, OPPO revealed that it had fused the fastest charging technology in the Find N2 Flip’s 44W SUPERVOOC that can charge the battery from nearly empty to 50 per cent in 23 minutes and has the ability to achieve a full charge in less than an hour.
