Blockchain gamefi platform Zone has hit 10,600,000 play minutes since its worldwide launch 9 months ago to become among the fastest-growing platforms in Africa, Europe, Asia, and South America.

After making a debut in Kenya in April, the play-to-earn crypto-gaming platform has had a total of 30 million games played on its platform with 16 million total transactions in crypto.

Zone Country Representative Avhit Bij has revealed that the maximum reward to a player in a single game was USD332 with the play-to-earn platform witnessing a surge in gamers.

“Our game designs are also top-notch for those playing from their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. They are not only fun and entertaining but also mind-challenging. All of these factors combined led to the huge traction on play minutes achieved on Zone,” said Bij.

The favourite games played on Zone include Knife dart, Merge Mania, Hoop Star, Escape Run and Carrom.

Last week, Bij announced that the firm will unveil more games in Q2 including Ludo, Chess, Solitaire with the platform targeting E-sport and Casual gamers with Consoles and internet-enabled devices.

Zone is the first gamefi ecosystem on the Algorand blockchain that combines on-chain gaming challenges, yield farming and NFTs to create a free-to-play and play-to-earn ecosystem.

The Crypto-based gaming platform permits gamers to earn up to USD250 per month by playing AAA games, Zone Fantasy and Zone Games.

You can use tokens you earn on Zone to purchase gift cards on the Zone gift cards Marketplace with over 120 global brands, including Amazon, Netflix, and Binance.
