Chinese technology company OPPO has unveiled the imagine IF Photography Awards 2023, a mobile photography competition that seeks to push the boundaries of creativity beyond the limits of existing images and expressions.

The award’s vision of “Beyond the Image, Beyond Imagination” is a reflection of OPPO’s pledge to driving progress through technological innovation and igniting the creativity of global OPPO users.

The tech firm’s professional mobile photography technology is created to stimulate maximum aesthetics and inspiration, empowering non-professional users to create timeless masterpieces.

The imagine IF Photography Awards 2023 awards is offering one of the highest prizes in the industry and OPPO says this is evidence of the company’s commitment to motivating mobile photographers.

The OPPO imagine IF Master of the Year (Golden Award) includes a $23,000 prize money, taking part in the Hasselblad Image Training Camp, and opportunities in various international photo exhibitions.

The competition also has four Silver Awards with $8,000 prizes, 10 OPPO Bronze Awards with $3,000 prizes, while also offering other appealing prizes as well as opportunities for exposure and training.

In addition, the awards have four Honorable Mentions in each of the eight categories alongside Partner Channel Awards and Monthly Activity Awards that will include more inspiring works.

OPPO has brought together a panel of esteemed judges consisting of world-renowned photographers bringing in diverse perspectives and extensive experience to the contest.


They include famed contemporary photographic artist Alec Soth; OPPO Senior VP and Chief Product Officer Pete Lau; top portrait photographer Tang Hui; acclaimed art photographer Tina Signesdottir Hult; a top landscape photographer Wang Jianjun; and top fashion photographer Yin Chao.

The awards competition feature eight different entry categories: The Distant View, Portrait, Night Scenery, Colors, Landscape, The Taste of Memories, Light & Shadow, and Chapters of a Life.
