The Chinese phone maker Vivo has officially launched its Vivo Y33s in Kenya to cater to the midrange market.

The company has taken a keen move in the budget smartphone segment by recently launching Vivo Y21.

The new phone, Vivo Y33s will cost Ksh. 23,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. 



The smartphone has two color variants like Mirror Black and Midday Dream.

The Vivo Y33s sports a 6.58-inch water-drop notch display. It is an LCD panel with a Full-HD+ resolution. 


 It features a 16MP front camera for selfie shots. there’s a triple camera array at the rear with a 50MP main lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth-sensing lens.

 It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.


The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 11 out of the box with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 11.1 on the top. 

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

It is currently available for purchase across Kenya.
