Inchcape Kenya, the official distributor of Land Rover, Jaguar and BMW, introduced has introduced the new Land Rover Defender 90 into the Kenyan automotive market.


This comes a year after the company introduced the Land Rover Defender 110, joining to the list of the most capable 4x4s in the world.

The new machine is made up of a three door that boasts impressive capability, advanced technologies, compact design and is the most capable Land Rover to have been made.

Speaking at the event, the British High Commissioner, Jane Marriot, said the machine has become synonymous with the adventure from going over giant puddles on an off-road terrain during a safari to the Mara, to driving long distance across borders to different countries in Africa.


“I would equally like to appreciate and commend Jaguar and Land Rover who have shown strong commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of their operations with their “Reduce. Re-use. Recycle” policy, combined with energy-efficient measures across their operations aimed at reducing emissions.” said Marriot.

The newest wheel also has a short wheelbase and minimal overhangs that result in excellent off-road geometry, making it the most capable Land Rover ever made.

The Defender 90 line-up includes four engine options comprising of two diesels and two petrol.



The user can also personalize his defender 90 with four accessory packs.

The Explorer, country and Urban packs each give the Defender a distinct character.


Like its stablemates, the Defender will come with a standard warranty package that spans four years or 50,000 miles.
