Global technology brand OPPO on Monday launched its latest smartphone device, the OPPO Reno6 5G, in Kenya.

The new Reno6 5G device boasts of the AI-enhanced video performance, is an AI portrait expert equipped with a load of industry-leading features.

It features OPPO’s Iconic Reno Glow design with ultra-slim retro design, powerful performance from the MediaTek Dimensity 900, and intelligent ColorOS 11 suiting it for 5G.

It comes equipped with leading AI Capabilities to provide superior portrait video experience and features an 64MP AI Triple Camera setup on the back and a 32MP Selfie Camera.

• Bokeh Flare Portrait Video provides a pioneering cinematic quality bokeh effect for smartphone video. Powered by OPPO’s over-10-million portrait dataset and AI algorithms, Bokeh Flare Portrait Video delivers real-time video processing to capture portrait videos with bokeh light spots on the background, all while keeping the portrait subjects appearing natural and bright. Available on both the front and rear cameras, this dream-like bokeh lighting effect can be applied to your portrait videos with just one click.

• AI Highlight Video can automatically detect ambient light and make video optimizations accordingly. Whether you are shooting at night, or with strong backlight in the day, AI Highlight Video helps you to capture clearer, brighter, and more vividly-colored portrait videos.

• Portrait Beautification Video on Reno6 5G can perform subtle and natural edits for portrait videos to improve appearances. Better User Experience

Reno6 5G is the first smartphone in the Kenyan market to feature MediaTek's latest 5G-integrated SoC, the Dimensity 900, built on a 6nm processor.

It offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage added to OPPO’s self-developed RAM Expansion technology, allowing one to add 2GB/3GB/5GB of ROM storage memory if RAM space runs out.

The large battery is 4,300 mAh with a 65W SuperVOOC 2.0, and can be fully charged in 28 minutes and enables all-day usage even with a very low battery.

OPPO Reno Glow

Reno6 5G has a stylish ultra-slim retro design with a thickness of 7.59mm, weighs 182g, features OPPO Reno Glow and comes in two new colors: Aurora and Stellar Black.

It also has a 360-degree Light-Sensing enabled by two sensors, improving the accuracy of auto-brightness adjustments, making the viewing experience more comfortable everywhere.

The screen is also SGS Eye Care Display Certificated as a "low-blue light screen" to reduce eye strain, comes with Netflix HD and Amazon Prime Video HD Certification and runs on ColorOS 11.
