Oppo has launched the Oppo Renovators 2021 aimed at giving artists and young creators a chance to imagine the future with art and technology in the 3rd edition of its Emerging Artists Project.

The project is a competition for art and technology lovers and will build a community through which emerging artists can seek guidance and inspiration from top artists, showcase their work on global platforms and access once-in-a-lifetime career chances.

Oppo Renovators 2021 encourages young creators to unleash their creativity and imagine the possibilities of technology through art.

“OPPO has always believed in the power of the young generation and wants the world to witness the brilliance of creative young artists. The next inspiration that changes the world could come from the youth of today, and we want to do all within our power to spur this creative thinking," said Oppo VP and President of Global Marketing William Liu.

The theme of this year’s Renovators program is ‘Light’ which symbolizes expressions of positivity, such as love and hope.

Oppo is seeking to create a sense of calm and optimism while encouraging young creators to break through the boundaries of art and ignite their creativity.

The project includes two professional contest categories – Art Tech And Art Toy – as well as a Portrait Capture category targeted at creative enthusiasts across the world.

Oppo Renovators 2021 seeks to leverage the mobile company’s global resources to help the development of the program’s talented artists with a variety of prizes and awards on offer.

The artworks selected from Oppo Renovators 2021 will be displayed at global exhibitions such as London Design Festival and Dubai World Expo, as well as global online exhibitions.

Young designers taking part in the project will get a chance to become contracted Oppo designers to get financial incentives to further realize their creative ideas and dreams.
