Inter Milan has struck a deal with Barcelona to sign Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal for a whopping Sh127 million on a permanent deal.

The two top clubs made the announcement on Tuesday.

Vidal joined Barca from Bayern Munich in 2018 and will reunite with Inter coach Antonio Conte who in 2011 signed him for Juventus, where he played up to  2015.

“The Italian club will pay Barcelona 1 million euros in variables,” said Barcelona in a statement announcing the transfer.

“Barcelona would like to publicly express their gratitude to Arturo Vidal for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future,” the statement went on.

Vidal made a total of 96 appearances for Barcelona in two seasons scoring 11 times and provided 10 assists to help the Spanish side win La Liga in 2018-2019.
