The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued a crucial public notice requiring all tow truck owners, motor vehicle dealers (new and second-hand), and repairers of motor vehicles to undergo a mandatory licence revalidation process.
The revalidation exercise, scheduled to take place from November 11th to 22nd, 2024, is in line with Section 23(1) and 24(c) of the Traffic Act Cap 403, which mandates the NTSA to licence and regulate motor vehicle and motorcycle dealers.
"Through this Public Notice, the Authority informs all tow truck owners, motor vehicle dealers (new and second hand) and repairers of motor vehicles of a multi-agency licence revalidation exercise scheduled from 11th to 22nd November 2024," NTSA notice read.
All operators are required to complete and submit an online licence revalidation form accessible on the NTSA website (www.ntsa.go.ke) by November 6, 2024.
Following the online submission, a multi-agency team will conduct physical inspections of the operators' premises to verify the accuracy of the information provided.

The NTSA has emphasized the importance of providing accurate information during the revalidation process to avoid any inconveniences.
