In its ambition to expand and extend financial services to every corner of the nation, NCBA Group PLC has successfully inaugurated its latest branch in Ruaka town, Kiambu County.

Strategically located at Elizaphan Plaza, this marks a significant milestone for the financial institution, fulfilling its commitment to opening 10 branches this year as part of a broader expansion strategy.

The inauguration ceremony was led by NCBA Group Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy, Louisa Wandabwa, accompanied by the Group Director Retail Banking, Tirus Mwithiga.

Mwithiga expressed NCBA's dedication to fostering financial inclusion, supporting economic growth, and enhancing community prosperity.

He emphasized that this commitment has driven them to expand their presence to Ruaka Town, an area rich with potential and promise.

Mwithiga noted the positive reception from the community, describing it as fantastic, and highlighted the belief that the bank's success is intertwined with the growth and prosperity of the county. 

"Being one of the youngest of our branches the positive reception we have received from the community has been fantastic. As such, we believe that the growth and prosperity of this great County go hand in hand with our success as a bank," he emphasised.

"Therefore, our decision as NCBA to open this branch demonstrates our dedication to supporting the needs of the people and businesses in this community.” 

The Ruaka branch aims to address diverse customer needs by offering a comprehensive range of financial products and solutions.

These include current accounts and savings accounts (CASA), mobile banking, paybill services, investment in money markets, fixed deposit openings, wealth management, and more.

Through lending and trade facilities, the branch is poised to assist various sectors, including agriculture, horticulture, trade, real estate, and construction in the burgeoning town.

NCBA Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy, Louisa Wandabwa, reported that Ruaka has recently emerged as one of the fastest-growing satellite towns in the Nairobi Metropolitan Area.

According to Wandabwa, this growth has positioned Ruaka as a significant centre for real estate investment and development.

She highlighted that this transformation has not only established Ruaka as an investment hub but also as a town with boundless possibilities.

"Ruaka has in the recent past become one of the fastest-growing satellite towns in the Nairobi Metropolitan Area which has in turn made it become a major centre for Real Estate investment and development," Wandabwa said.

She emphasized the town's limitless possibilities and affirmed the bank's commitment to providing tailored financial services to its residents.
