Brown's Cheese Company, a renowned dairy producer, has taken swift action following an incident involving women's maltreatment at their facility.

This follows public outrage over an incident at the establishment in which female employees were allegedly made to strip naked after a used sanitary towel was discovered improperly disposed of and a manager insisted on identifying the person responsible.

Senior leaders of the company expressed shock and sadness upon learning about the incident and vowed to thoroughly investigate the matter.

In a statement released on Thursday, the company highlighted its commitment to providing a safe working environment for all employees and acknowledged the need for improvement.

"We were deeply shocked and saddened to learn that an incident involving women's health occurred at our facility recently," stated the senior leaders of Brown's Cheese Company.

Brown's Cheese Company leadership claims as soon as the incident came to their attention, they took immediate action by suspending the individuals involved pending an internal investigation.

"As soon as the matter was brought to our attention, the individuals involved were suspended pending the Company’s investigation," the statement read.

The company's senior leaders emphasized that this incident does not reflect the overall procedures and values upheld by Brown's, a women-led business known for its dedication to employee well-being.

To ensure a thorough and unbiased investigation, Brown's Cheese Company said it has enlisted the services of a third-party HR company.

This independent investigation will allow all employees to have an opportunity to discuss the matter with an external party, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the process.

In addition to the external investigation, the company said it is actively seeking guidance from experts in the field to further enhance its understanding of women's health and sensitivity.

By engaging with these experts, Brown's Cheese Company aims to strengthen its existing policies and training programs, guaranteeing that such incidents do not happen again in the future.

The company further said it offered an apology to the women affected and through the statement also extended the same to the greater public.

"We have apologized to the women involved and would like to apologize to the wider public as well," the company's statement read.

By taking swift action, initiating an independent investigation, and seeking expert guidance, the company demonstrates its dedication to addressing this issue comprehensively and preventing its recurrence.
