Police in Nakuru have launched a manhunt for a 41-year-old man suspected of killing his wife over domestic dispute.

The suspect identified as Thomas Njuguna went into hiding before the lifeless body of his wife identified as Winnie Chepkurui was discovered on March 3, 2023, soaked in a pool of her own blood in their children’s bedroom.

Cheprkurui’s body was ridden with stab wounds on her belly, chest and face.

The suspect is believed to have fled the scene after committing the heinous crime and has since gone under.

Preliminary investigations revealed Njuguna had been issuing threats to relatives who have since stepped in to take care of his childred.

The police appealed to members of the public with any information that may lead to Njuguna’s arrest to anonymously volunteer the same to any police station or use the toll-free ‘Fichua kwa DCI’ hotline.
