Motorists using Langata Road heading towards the Bomas of Kenya have experienced a heavy traffic jam.

This was occasioned by an accident occurred involving a small vehicle; Nissan Tiida hatchback.

The vehicle whose bearing is yet to be confirmed seemed to have lost control before veering off the road and landing on the Airport’s perimeter fence.

Police officers are already on site and are busy trying to restore the normal flow of traffic and maintain order.

This has also proven to be an uphill task as curious onlookers and good Samaritans have flocked the scene either to catch a glimpse or engage in the rescue operations.

However, it’s not yet clear how many occupants were in the car and their state

Motorists are advised to be more careful and avoid speeding as prompt reaction to any eventualities by braking is not guaranteed due to hydroplaning as a result of the rain.
