Seven more patients succumbed to Covid-19 in Kenya in the past 24 hours, bringing total fatalities in the country to 718.
This was announced by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on Thursday, as he revealed 184 new cases from 4,700 samples tested in the same period.
The
new cases of the Coronavirus recorded on Thursday increased Kenya’s total
caseload to 38,713.
Similarly, 115 more Covid-19
patients have recovered in the past 24 hours and this has raised the total
recoveries from the virus to 25,023.
According to CS Kagwe, 48 of those who have recovered from the novel virus were in hospitals and 67 were under the home-based care.
