A 27-year-old woman residing in Milimani Estate, Kitengela Sub County, reportedly stabbed her two-year-old daughter to death and consumed her remains.

Kitengela OCS David Shani confirmed the incident and disclosed that Olivia Naserian had dismembered the baby Gloria Njeri and proceeded to consume her intestines and kidney.

According to eyewitnesses, Naserian had locked herself in her house and was playing with her child before turning violent and breaking household items.

The commotion alerted neighbors, who helplessly witnessed Naserian stabbing the infant multiple times through a locked door before alerting the authorities.

A video circulating online shows the Naserian repeatedly stabbing the child while reciting the alphabet.

After receiving the incident's report, the police rushed to the scene and broke into the house, discovering Naserian unconscious with bloodstained clothing and teeth.

The accused would later confess to the press that she had attacked her baby because she hated herself and had struggled with her child.

“I do not love myself and that is the reason why I decided to take the life of my daughter,” the lady stated.

Neighbors speculated that the accused had committed the crime due to a recent separation from her partner.

Kitengela Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss Benson Mutia said they will conduct further investigations to determine the motive for the killing and whether it was premeditated.

"It's a bizarre incident. We will be interrogating her to ascertain the motive of the killing. We also want to know if the murder was premeditated," he commented.
