Kasarani-based detectives acting on a tipoff arrested three suspects on Sunday night for being in possession of stolen items.


According to the police report, the detectives who were on patrol received information that the three criminals, identified as Francis Itaru, Joel Njoroge and John Warui were ferrying the stolen items to Githurai 44.

They were transporting the items to be sold to traders in the electronics business in two different vehicles.

The detectives intercepted the vehicles the three were using to transport the stolen items and recovered forged number plate stickers, a bunch of master keys, a laptop and an assortment of crude house-breaking items.


Other items the police recovered from the criminals included television sets, remote controlled high-end toys and other electronics.

The detectives escorted the three suspects to Kasarani Police Station for further interrogation before they are arraigned.
