The Judiciary of Kenya has notified the public of its migration from paper to digital a platform and automation of its services.

This entrenches paperless practices and enhances service delivery in the courts.

The judiciary made the announcement to the public on Monday via public notice.

“The Judiciary of Kenya is in the process of digitising and automating it's services to entrench a paperless practice such as virtual courts, e-filing, case tracking, SMS and email-based transactions,” the notice read.

According to the notice, the public was informed that all official communication from the judiciary will henceforth bear the domain @court.go.ke and not @judiciary.co.ke.

“THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS NOTIFIED that all official email communication from the Judiciary will bear the domain @court.go.ke,” the Judiciary said.

“No email shall bear the domain @judiciary.go.ke for communication by the Judiciary.”

The notice further said only the Judiciary and associated websites will be accessible via the www.judiciary.go.ke domain.
