List of the 54 lawyers William Ruto has hired to battle Supreme Court challenge

President-elect William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza alliance have released names of the 54 lawyers and five technical team to defend his contested win in the August General Election.

The names of Ruto's legal team were unveiled on Friday as Kenya Kwanza filed its response to nine petitions filed at the Supreme Court by Azimio flagbearer Raila Odinga and others.

The coalition says Senior Counsel Fred Ngatia will lead Ruto’s defence complimented by Senior Counsels Kioko Kilukumi and Kiragu Githinji together with Prof Kithure Kindiki.
