The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential running Martha Karua has said it is not yet over.

Karua was reacting to the announcement by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati’s declaration that William Ruto is the president-elect.

Karua took to social media to share the sentiments, signifying they are still going to soldier on with their quest to lead the country.

“It is not over till it is over …..” Karua wrote.

Azimio la Umoja leaders declined to accept the presidential results, citing irregularities and a compromised voter tallying process.

However, neither Raila nor Karua has issued an official statement that their supporters are banking on.

It is not clear if Azimio will file a petition challenging the presidential election results within 14 days from the day of the declaration of the results as the Constitution provides.
