A woman in Nairobi has been left confounded after her lover collapsed and died under unclear circumstances while they were having sexual intercourse on Wednesday night. 

According to the woman, the man worked as a theatre technician at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and they had been lovers.

The 35-year-old man, according to a police report, died at around 11pm on Wednesday as the two were having a good time at their house in Dandora estate in Nairobi County.

In the police report filed under OB number 03/7/01/2021, the woman called in police officers from Dandora Police Station early Thursday morning following her boyfriend’s sudden death.

“(The man) fainted and died instantly while on the act. Police ransacked the house and found assorted drugs and medical reports,” said the police report.

The body of the deceased KNH theatre technician has been moved to City Mortuary to await a postmortem.
