Prominent lawyer Paul Muite addresses viral rumours circulating on his health

Senior Counsel Paul Muite has dismissed reports doing rounds across social media that he is suffering from cancer.

This comes after a photo of Muite with an unidentified lady that showed the senior counsel with a smaller body frame surfaced online.

Muite took to his Twitter account to set the record straight, saying he had to shed off some weight because of his age and affirmed he was fine.

“Reports on social media that I am sick with cancer are not true. Given my age, I have to shed off weight on purpose to keep sugar levels where they should be otherwise I have never felt better; I enjoyed one and a half hours jogging in Ngong forest this morning,” Muite said.

Kenyans on social media reacted to Muite’s tweet, including some of his learned friends who came to his aid to dispel the rumours and confirmed the senior counsel was okay and in perfect health.
