Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua has promised the National Police Service that their administration will make radical changes in the service if they win the August election.
Gachagua was speaking in Nyandarua during the Kenya Kwanza economic forum when he claimed they were aware of the troubles the police were facing.
One such problem he claimed they are privy to includes the latest edition of the blue police uniform.
Gachagua said if they win the election they will revert to the previous police uniform and reserve the current one for the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) women’s guild.

"Even this blue uniform that they do not want, we will get it from you and return the previous one. We will return the current blue one to the PCEA church. That one in the women’s guild uniform," Gachagua said.
Rigathi further castigated Interior PS Karanja Kibicho and Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, claiming they mistreat the police officers.
