The Interior CS Fred Matiangi has officially launched the signing of the late, retired President Mwai Kibaki’s condolence book.

Matiang’i launched the exercise on Tuesday morning, allowing other Kenyans interested in signing the same to do so at various points.

Members of the public who wish to sign the condolence book within Nairobi were advised to present themselves at Harambee House on Tuesday at 9:00 pm.

Matiang’i also said the Government will avail condolence books at all Regional County and Sub-county headquarters for members of the public who wish to sign the same.

Also present when Matiang’i was signing the condolence book was the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government Karanja Kibicho and the head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

Kibicho and Kinyua both signed the condolence book after Matiang'i.

“Condolence books will be availed at all Regional, County, and Sub-County offices for the members of the public,” Matiang’i said.

The condolence books will also be availed at Kibaki’s office, Parliament Buildings, The Supreme Court and all other ministry offices.
