Musician Kevin Kioko alias Bahati shed tears on Monday alleging Jubilee Party had called him with the intention of recalling his nomination to vie for the Mathare parliamentary seat.
Bahati made the revelation during an emotional press briefing in which tears flowed freely from his eyes as he narrated how rescinding his nomination certificate would kill his political dreams.
He pleaded with the party amid sobs to give the youth, like him, a chance to seek political office in the country and the people of Mathare to elect their most preferred candidate.

"Give the youths of this country a chance. Give the people of Mathare a chance to elect the leaders they have always wanted," Bahati said in a shaky voice.
He made a passionate appeal to President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is also the Jubilee Party leader, to intervene to ensure he retains his ticket to vie in Mathare on August 9, 2022.
"I am asking my beloved president and party leader of Jubilee to intervene and serve me justice," Bahati pleaded.
