The parliamentary aspirant for the Nandi Hills constituency Wesley Kogo has died aged.
According to his family, which confirmed his death, Kogo died following a grisly road accident in the Kangemi area in Nairobi on Thursday morning.
Sources say Kogo was on his way to KASS FM for an interview on a talk show when the vehicle he was travelling in got involved in the accident.
His body was later moved to the City Mortuary.
Kogo was seeking to replace the incumbent Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter on a UDA ticket.
