The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has summoned the member of parliament for the Suna East constituency Junet Mohamed.
Junet has been summoned over the Friday attack of Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his team in Soy, Uasin Gishu County.
Junet shared the news about his summon to the DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road in Nairobi via his Twitter account on Monday.
According to Junet’s tweet, he was invited to the DCI headquarters on Tuesday for an interview relating to the incident in which a group of rowdy youth stoned Raila’s chopper and cars.

Junet was among the people who attended Mzee Jackson Kibor’s funeral and was part of Raila’s entourage.
He was the first person to share images and news about the incident.
Since the incident occurred, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has already arrested 17 people in connection to the same and interrogated three members of the National Assembly
The three legislators include Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Soy MP Caleb Kositany and Uasin Gishu Speaker David Kiplagat.
