Jubilee Party has kicked out Deputy President William Ruto as the deputy party leader.

This comes as the party held their National Delegates Convention at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi on Saturday.

The delegates unanimously resolved to kick out the rebels and sever any relations with political parties that breached Jubilee Party policies.

“Jubilee Party resolves to terminate all forms of cooperation and or coalition with political parties that promote policies and or ideologies that do not align with those of Jubilee Party. All members of the Jubilee Party that have openly promoted policies and or ideologies of other political parties be deemed to have ceased to be members of Jubilee Party and be removed from the register of members of Jubilee Party,” Jubilee announced

Apart from Ruto, Jubilee NDC also resolved to expel other rebel party members, including governors, MPs and MCAs allied to Ruto or those promoting the policies and ideologies of other political outfits.

The party also gave President Uhuru Kenyatta a new five-year term as Jubilee Party leader.

Jubilee has also appointed new party officials who were announced during the NDC at KICC.
