Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have rescued 108 Ethiopian nationals suspected to be merchandise in a human trafficking racket.
The detectives who acted on the intelligence reports traced the whereabouts of the victims to a house in Kirigiti area, Kiambu County.
The DCI detectives secured the perimeter of the premise they gained entry only to find distraught victims aged between 13 to 35 bundled up in one room.
Police arrested four individuals namely Rosemary Nyambura 42, Hosiman Moche 42, Daniel Jamuhuri 24, and Kelvin Wambui 24, during the operation.
They are suspected to be part of a larger human trafficking syndicate with operations across the Horn of Africa.
