Police in Makueni County have arrested a 35-year-old man for sodomising his 12-year-old stepson on Sunday night Kibwezi, Makueni County.

The suspect identified as Benjamin Kavindu Mwania was arrested on Monday at Miangeni Shopping centre after his stepson told on him.

The juvenile narrated his ordeal to police officers at Ulinzi Police Post what transpired on that fateful night.

According to the young boy, his father first treated him to a delicious meal before turning against him.

The man later shared his bed with his stepson, only to perform the unnatural act on the poor boy.

After his beastly act, the man is said to have ordered the boy to take a bath immediately and warned him not to disclose what had transpired to anyone.

When the boy’s mother who was not present on the night of the incident returned on Monday from the journey she had gone to, the boy could not hold it back but spilt the beans.

The woman went with her son to the police station to make a formal complaint and after that; the police launched a spirited manhunt for the suspect as the boy was rushed to a local hospital for a thorough medical examination and treatment.

This is yet another eccentric case of a child being molested by kin that has come barely a week after a similar incident involving a father and her daughter in the same county.1
