The government for Kakamega County Wycliffe Oparanya has pledged to cover the funeral expenses of slain die-hard Harambee Stars, AFC Leopards fan Isaac Juma’s funeral.


Oparanya has also revealed the county will educate three of the late Juma’s children who are in secondary school.

Juma was hacked to death at his home in Mumias, Kakamega County by unknown assailants on January 26.

One suspect has already been arrested in connection to Juma’s murder and is being treated as the chief suspect in the case.

His burial has been slated for February 12 at his family home.

Juma’s funeral procession will begin from the Mumias Mortuary on Friday for public viewing at Bukhungu Stadium, then Mumias Complex.

His remains will be taken to his home for a vigil before his burial the following day.
