There was drama after a meeting convened by Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka at his Yatta home in Machakos County was interrupted by a snake that was found inside a tent.
Wiper leaders who had sat inside the said tent scampered for safety amid confusion over where the snake emerged from and as they rushed to kill the serpent.
However, no person was reported injured during the brief commotion during the meeting held on Saturday afternoon.
The former Vice President was hosting Wiper Party leaders from the Ukambani region as the party seeks to chat its own path away from the former NASA ahead of the August election.

A host of leaders from Ukambani region attended the meeting which was skipped governors Dr Alfred Mutua (Machakos), Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni).
The trio termed the meeting personal arguing that such a community political meeting should have been held at a public venue and not someone’s home.
