The appointment of Brig (Rtd) David Azangu Ngaira is revoked."

Before his latest appointment, Duale served as the Chairperson of the Kenya Leather Development Council.

This was after serving as a member of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) where the former Treasury CS Henry Rotich appointed him.

He only served in that capacity for less than a year before former President Uhuru Kenyatta revoked his appointment to the KRA board.

Previously, Duale has also served as a board member of the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).

Duale is a holder of an MBA degree in International Trade from Edith Cowan University, Australia.

Ngaira is one of Uhuru’s appointees Ruto has purged from his current administration.
