Jubilee party’s National Management Committee (NMC) has approved proved a pre-election agreement between Jubilee and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

The NMC met the Parliamentary leadership on Tuesday for further consultations.

NMC gave the green light to the party secretariat to engage formally ODM in drawing a framework agreement on a pre-election agreement.

The announcement was made by Jubilee Party’s Secretary General Raphael Tuju after a meeting between the NMC and Parliamentary leadership.

"Following various high-level consultations within the Jubilee Party that culminated in a joint NMC and Parliamentary leadership meeting this morning, the NMC granted permission to the Party Secretariat to formally engage with ODM Party in drawing a framework agreement on a pre-election coalition agreement," Tuju said.

Jubilee party said it will also engage other like-minded parties such as those that make up One Kenya Alliance (OKA).
